There are 2 versions of the Baby Buddha pump out there- version 1 and version 2. These are extremely close but version 2 was designed for more gentle suction. The biggest difference for users is that hacks that have worked with one pump may not work the same with the other version. Hard Plastic Flanges with Silicone Inserts

Silicone inserts allow you to reduce the size of the hard plastic flanges- most fit nicely in a 24-25 mm flange. The long pull of the Baby Buddha suction pattern means certain silicone inserts work better than others- inserts that are too short are likely to result in your nipple being pulled past the end of the insert risking tissue trauma.

Inserts can be tricky as even with good sizing the texture differences or fit in the flange can cause issues for some people. Shape and material vary by brand and can be more challenging to dial in fit than with hard plastic flanges.

The advantage here is that it widens the options for hard plastic flanges WITH that twisting Baby Buddha Backflow protector from 21-32 mm to 15-32 mm.
