Eufy S1/S1 Pro vs. E10 Wearable Breast Pumps: Which One Should You Choose?

Hey everyone, Jessica here—welcome back to Genuine Lactation!

Today we’re diving into a super common question:
What’s the difference between the Eufy S1, S1 Pro, and E10 wearable pumps?
The names and packaging can be confusing, but I’ve had hands-on experience with all of them, and I’m here to break it all down so you can pick the right one for your pumping journey.

🟠 Let’s Start with the Eufy S1 and S1 Pro

First things first: these two are the same pump—but with a twist.

  • S1: Comes with a standard charger.

  • S1 Pro: Comes with an awesome magnetic charging case that doubles as protective storage and a battery pack.

If you buy the S1 and later decide you want the case, it’s sold separately (though it’s been out of stock lately, it does come back periodically). The case charges your pump while it sits inside, and moms report it lasts 4–7 days between charges—about 5 days on average.

🔥 The Heating Element: Yes, It’s in Both S1 and S1 Pro

There’s some confusion out there, so let’s clear this up:
Both versions include the heating flange. This flange features skin-like silicone and a "heat flow" element that warms up—helping improve letdowns and milk removal for some users. The heat can:

  • Promote dilation of breast tissue and ducts

  • Possibly increase elasticity

  • Potentially reduce discomfort or speed up sessions

But! Results vary. Some moms love it, others don’t notice a big difference. The good news? You can turn the heat off if you don’t like it.

Heads up: These heated flanges are pricey—about 4x the cost of standard ones. Something to consider when factoring in long-term costs.

🟢 What About the Eufy E10?

The E10 is quickly becoming one of my go-to recommendations—especially for budget-conscious moms.

  • It’s the same motor as the S1 (with slightly different firmware for heat control).

  • You still get Eufy’s smart rhythm programming—a big deal in a budget-friendly pump.

  • No heat. No charging case. But simple, effective, and reliable.

💰 Cost? Usually between $120–$160, putting it in the same range as:

  • MomMed S21

  • Motif Aura Glow

  • Zomee Fit
But let’s be honest: the E10 leaves those pumps in the dust when it comes to smart programming and reliability.

🤖 Let’s Talk Smart Pumping Features

Eufy added advanced smart rhythm options that alternate stimulation and expression in different patterns.
You can:

  • Pick your speed (slow, medium, fast)

  • Adjust suction levels for each phase

  • Get a customizable feel, like what you’d expect from much more expensive pumps

The E10 gives you all this in a very accessible package. It’s especially great if:

  • You’re overwhelmed by pump choices

  • You’re new to pumping

  • You want something that just works

⚙️ Parts & Maintenance

Both pumps use a unique Eufy diaphragm (not your typical S32 style), so I always recommend buying official Eufy replacement parts—especially for:

  • Diaphragms

  • Duckbills

  • Flanges

Using knockoff parts can mess with performance and void your warranty.

Also:

  • S1 flanges = pricier, due to heating tech

  • E10 flanges = standard silicone, easy to replace, low cost

🔍 Suction Strength & Cycle Speed

These pumps aren’t the strongest on the market (topping out around 250–260 mmHg), which is slightly lower than some others like the Willow Go or Momcozy Air1.
BUT—they shine in cycle speed and customizability. Even the “slow” rhythm is still on the faster side compared to many competitors.

👶 Picking the Right One for YOU

Here’s how I help clients decide:

Go with the Eufy E10 if:

  • You’re on a budget

  • You want low-maintenance, no-fuss pumping

  • You’ve had good experiences with standard silicone in the past

  • You need something that works right away with minimal trial-and-error

Consider the Eufy S1 or S1 Pro if:

  • You’re into bells and whistles (👋 hello, that charging case!)

  • You’re curious about heat and think it might help your milk flow

  • You’re okay spending more on replacement parts

  • You’re up for a little experimentation with the flange fit and feel

⚠️ A small number of moms find the skin-like flange texture tricky—it may pinch or not adhere well depending on skin elasticity. If that’s you, the E10 might be a better match.

✨ The Dream? Combine Them.

Honestly, if Eufy took the charging case and heat feature from the S1, but used the traditional silicone flange from the E10… I’d be obsessed.
Until then, both of these are strong contenders.

🧠 Final Thoughts

If you’re still unsure, we’ve got a live workshop coming up at the end of April called Choosing Your Pump. We’ll walk through:

  • How to evaluate pump features

  • How to assess YOUR needs (not just what’s trending)

  • How to find the right fit today, tomorrow, and beyond

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about what works for me—it’s about what works for you.

Happy pumping! 💜
