So Why Can’t I Just Print a Handout from a Website I Like?

As a private lactation provider, you have to protect your business. You cannot rely on someone else’s materials to represent your business to your clients. Let me be clear, none of the information in these handouts is proprietary. If you practice in the field of lactation, this information would be something that you would have already been educated on.

But the reality is, most clients don’t have that same knowledge. These handouts are for YOUR CLIENTS who need to educate themselves before or after a consultation or when they have concerns. They look to YOU for support and care - not others.

Don’t breastfeeding handouts from other places already exist?

Yes, of course. However, they have someone else’s logo, brand, or information. Maybe the information has become outdated. Maybe it is in a basic Word document format.

If your client is paying you for services, they want YOUR knowledge.
